Valentine's Day Fun In The

     Well we can't all have very much fun in the sun come Valentine's Day.  In fact a lot of us cannot have much sun time for Valentine's Day.  However, we can have a lot of fun for Valentine's Day without any beaches or anything of the like.  So I decided to come up with a few ideas to share with you all for Valentine's Day when you might not be able to make it out to a nice romantic spot.

     First and one of the most simple, would be to just take your Valentine out to dinner.  However, most any place that you live you will have to make sure that you make a good reservation for Valentine's Day.  As you all might know, most nice restaurants will be booked for about 3 hours on Valentine's Day.  Also you will want to keep in mind that this should not be a typical date that you and your loved one would go on. 

     Obviously, if you want to really try to impress then you can go for something more interesting.  If you do or do not usually cook you can still impress with cooking.  It is a double edged sword because if you do not usually cook then any cooking will be able to impress your partner.  On the other hand if you cook for them all of the time or a lot of the time then you might have a harder time impressing.  At this point they are expecting you to cook so your cooking is familiar.  That said you will have to cook something out of the norm and something that they will love.  For either of these cases you can find a lot of different recipes online.  And depending on your partner, some will be good choices and others obviously will not.

     With that, I will say that if you have a partner that likes beef then learning how to cook a good roast is a great choice.  You can have an awesome steak and follow it up with some delicious left overs for the next couple of days.  And of course if you have a vegetarian on your side then a great Alfredo dish would be awesome or some hand made veggie steaks or burgers.
